Frequently
Asked Question
At Red Door Studio we totally understand how trying a new thing can be nerve wracking and scary, I hope that I can answer a couple of your questions here! If you have any other questions don't hesitate to reach out!
1
What if I have never done Pilates before?
Trying Pilates for the first time? You’re in the right place. Our welcoming, beginner-friendly classes are designed to guide you through the fundamentals at your own pace—no pressure, no judgment. With small group class sizes, you’ll get the attention you need to feel confident and supported. We also offer private and semi-private sessions if you prefer a more personalized introduction to your Pilates journey.
2
What do I need to bring to class & what should I wear?
For your safety and comfort, grip socks are required for all classes (also are available for purchase at the studio). If you're joining a mat class, feel free to bring your own mat, though we have studio mats available as well. Don’t forget a water bottle to stay hydrated, and wear clothes you feel comfortable moving in—we’ll take care of the rest!
3
What if I have an injury?
If you're working with an injury or navigating physical limitations, you're in safe hands. As a certified Pilates instructor—and someone who’s been through injury myself—I deeply understand how hard it can be to trust someone with your body. That’s why I take a mindful, personalized approach, modifying movement to support your healing while helping you build strength and confidence at your own pace. You deserve to feel safe, seen, and supported in your movement journey. I would love to help you decide if group classes or private sessions would be better for your body!

Who can take classes at the studio?
Everyone is welcome at Red Door Studio —no matter your gender, size, age, or experience level. (Even though the website and studio is all pink. what can I say it's my favorite color!) Our space is built on respect, inclusivity, and the belief that pilates is for every body. Whether you're brand new to Pilates or a seasoned mover, you’ll find a supportive environment where you can show up just as you are.
